We have the most beautiful garden which we hope you'll have time to enjoy. The kitchen leads directly out onto a secluded lawned area surrounded by herbaceous borders and a creeper-clad pergola. There's an outdoor table and two chairs for you to enjoy a coffee on sunny days.

You're welcome to use the enclosed tennis court, and there are spare rackets and balls for you to borrow.

The surrounding garden is well fenced for small or medium size dogs and somehow manages to keep our own Houdini dog in check.

You're welcome to use the tennis court so bring your tennis rackets, although there are a couple together with some balls left in the Lodge for you to use.

At the top of the garden and just a minute's walk from the Lodge, there's a wooden picnic table with stunning views over the house below and across the Chalke Valley. It's a wonderfully peaceful place to have an evening drink, or perhaps send the kids on their own little adventure while keeping an eye on them. There's some plastic picnic ware, an ice bucket, tablecloth, and napkins which you're welcome to take by car up the track which snakes around the side of the property.
